High winds caused chaos in Leicester Square today as workmen tried to erect a giant mobile made of pocket watches for the premiere of Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Up on a cherry picker the workers had to duck and weave as the giant clocks swung around precariously after being strung for a tree.
Lunchtime picnickers looked on in amusement as the hapless team tried again and again to erect the promotional installation.
At times the huge time pieces whizzed around in the wind and refused to behave.
