Kimchi Master Lee Ha Yeon, who was flown in from Korea, showed willing students how to make their own kimchi out of Napa cabbage, salt, water, gochugaru - Korean red chilli flakes, garlic, ginger and sugar.
The fermented dish is renowned for its many health benefits particularly for the gut biome.
and can be kept in the fridge for up to a year.
As is tradition in Korean she also fed the students by hand to taste the spicy delicacy
